Mumbles Yacht Club is a RYA Training Centre and offers training in accordance with the RYA Training Schemes in these categories:-
All courses are run by qualified instructors, and encourage the development of sailing skills in a supportive, safe and friendly environment. Training is only available to members of the club, because of insurance, and as members trainees are encouraged to take an active part in all aspects of the club, from club racing through to enjoying the facilities, bar and catering available in the clubhouse. See the menu on the left of the pages include a link to the course list. Sailing courses cost £65 and powerboat courses cost £125. They usually start in late April or early May for about 6-8 weeks and are run on Monday/Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Saturday tends to be used for the younger children's courses and windsurfing courses. Please contact the training secretary for actual details about course dates and availability.
